1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ePDF Editor ("Service"), operated by ePDF Editor ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you do not have permission to access the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service, including free and premium subscribers.

2. Description of Service

ePDF Editor provides online PDF editing tools and services, including but not limited to:

  • PDF editing, annotation, and signing
  • PDF conversion (to/from Word, Excel, images, etc.)
  • PDF merging, splitting, and organizing
  • PDF compression and optimization
  • Cloud storage for premium users

Our basic tools process files locally in your browser. Premium features may require server-side processing and cloud storage.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Premium Subscription

Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your plan). Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel before the renewal date.

4.4 Refund Policy

We offer refunds under the following conditions:

  • Refund requests within 7 days of initial purchase may be eligible for a full refund
  • Technical issues that prevent you from using the Service
  • Duplicate charges or billing errors

4.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices. Existing subscribers will be notified of any price changes at least 30 days before they take effect.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Upload, process, or distribute illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
  • Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use automated tools to scrape or access the Service
  • Resell or redistribute our services without permission
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Process documents containing illegal content
  • Circumvent usage limits or restrictions

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ePDF Editor and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

6.2 Your Content

You retain all rights to the documents and files you upload or create using our Service. By using our Service, you grant us a limited license to process your files solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use your documents for any purpose other than providing the requested service.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

  • NON-INFRINGEMENT

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. You use the Service at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ePDF Editor SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any content or data processed through the Service

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
